Meaning: Ganadhyaksay – Gana means: a group and Adhyaksh means: the one who leads the group.

OM GAJANANAYA NAMAH
Meaning: Gajanan means here: the one who carries the elephant head. In Sanskrit, Gaj means elephant. This mantra says that if God can carry the elephant head to survive and fulfill his duties, we too should put our ego aside and live our lives dutifully.
