10-week Yoga «Beginner Course» for independent and systematic learning of Yoga. Also ideal as an accompaniment to a «Yoga Vidya Beginner Course». Every week there are:

➳1 «Short Yoga Practice Video» if you have less time (10-20 minutes)

The first Class Hour of the ten-week «Yoga Vidya Beginner Course». Sukadev explains the Basics of Yoga: What is yoga? What types of yoga are there? What do you learn in this 10 week Beginner Course? He gives you practical tips. Then he will guide you to the first Yoga Class Hour.
Kerstin shows the exercises. You practice: initial relaxation, Crocodile Exercises for back relaxation, abdominal breathing, eye exercises, relaxation exercises for shoulders and neck, abdominal muscle exercises, leg stretching, Cobra for back strengthening, rotating seat, tree as a balance exercise, thorough deep relaxation. The first Long Practice Hour of the ten-week «Yoga Vidya Beginners Course». With this video you can practice daily. Sukadev will guide you through the exercises of the 55-minute Yoga Class Hour that you learned in the First Class Hour.

Sukadev guides you to abdominal breathing, eye exercises, abdominal muscle exercises, crocodile (Makarasana) for back relaxation, leg stretching (Janu Shirasana), inclined plane for back strengthening (Purvotthasana), relaxation.
