Hey, y'all! Welcome to DAY FIVE of the NEW YEAR, NEW YOGI CHALLENGE. This challenge is 31 days of yoga with me, Nico, meant to encourage a beneficial everyday practice. Today's video is a 20 minute GROUNDING YOGA practice where we will be moving through a ROOT CHAKRA focused flow & ending with some affirmations. Your Root Chakra is responsible for grounding, safety, stability, & security. Lots of hip opening so be sure to listen to your body throughout the practice. If something is painful or doesn't feel right, safely come out of the pose & rest.
