Occasionally people have difficulty with the rope technique for astral projection as they just don't feel that their imaginary hands and arms are strong enough to hold the rope and pull themselves up the rope. This may sound strange to you, but it's a phenomenon that's more common than you think!
All other aspects of this method remain the same as the rope technique.
The next two out of body experience techniques are a bit more traditional and also more difficult for many people. However, some people take these types of astral projection techniques like ducks to water, and it's certainly good to have as many different methods as possible.
Finally, slowly rise out of your physical body. For that, it takes something what can only be described as a very relaxed form of willpower. Some strength is necessary, but don't let your body tense up. It definitely works; However, I have concerns that using this method could easily lead the practitioner of astral projection to always associate the sensation of driving with entering a deep trance state. This would be undesirable for obvious reasons!
The atmosphere for practicing an out of body experience is very important. Make sure you remove all interference (telephone, television, etc.). Before the out of body experience technique, drink little or preferably nothing at all so that you don't have to go to the toilet in the middle. Don't practice on a full stomach, but don't practice when you're hungry either. If necessary, darken your room a little if there is too much light.
