Today's video is another yoga pose tutorial. The pose is Goddess Pose or Utkata Konasana. Goddess Pose is a yoga pose you'll see throughout many practices as it is very commonly used. There are many benefits to this pose, here are some from Gaia:
Stretches your hips, groin, and chest.
Tones and strengthens the core muscles.
Strengthens the quadriceps and inner thigh muscles.
Heats the body and increases circulation.
I love to incorporate this pose into many of my practices because I like how it encourages strength building in the lower body. It can be challenging, as you can tell (I was out of breath at the end).
