The Course Video of the fourth week of the five-week Yoga Vidya Breathing course for Beginners. Sukadev explains the Prana Teaching of Yoga to you: What is Prana? How does Prana, the life energy, control health, radiation, spiritual forces? How can you control your Prana? What is the effect of Pranayama?

Sukadev gives you tips on how you can raise your Prana and your energy level through conscious eating, conscious drinking, conscious breathing, visualization and affirmation. Then Sukadev and Ananta guide you to a simple speaking training: With Prana in your voice you can achieve more! Breathing exercises in everyday life: walking with pranayama, energy technics for in between.

Pranayama practice: 3 rounds of «Kapalabhati» with 20, 25, 30 exhalations. «Alternating breathing» while sitting, rhythm 4: 12: 8, 10-12 rounds. «Brahmari», «Shitali / Sitkari». 5 minutes Meditation with «Kevala Kumbhaka» (meditative, shallow breath). After this video you can continue to practice the exercises with the Video 4B Breathing Course Long Practice or 4C Breathing Course Short Practice.

This is the Short Practice Video of the fourth week of the five-week Yoga Vidya Breathing Course for Beginners. Sukadev and Ananta guide you to a Round of Kapalabhati (rapid breathing) and a few Rounds of Alternate Breathing in the rhythm of 4 : 12 : 8, that means, 4 seconds of inhalation, 12 seconds of holding, 8 seconds of exhaling.

This Pranayama Session is quite short — but highly effective. Try it! For this week there is also the Video 4B Breathing Course Long Practice. You can learn these exercises and have them explained in the Video 4A Breathing Course for Beginners 4th week.
