Let us guide you to a 45-minute Pranayama Session with 5 rounds of Kapalabhati, 20 minutes of Alternate Breathing at a rhythm of 5 : 20 : 10 with a journey through the Chakras, 3 rounds of Bhastrika, Kapalabhati and Meditation. This is a Pranayama Practice that you can do every day. You can also shorten the Pranayama Session by stopping after the Alternate Breathing or going straight into Meditation.

This Pranayama Session consists of parts of the Pranayama Session from Video 6A of the six-week Intermediate Pranayama Course.

The sequence of exercises given here is particularly popular with Pranayama enthusiasts at Yoga Vidya.

A short Pranayama Practice consisting of one round of Kapalabhati and 5 rounds of Alternate Breathing. 10 minutes for new energy and joy of life. This Pranayama Session is the Short Practice Video from the last week of the six-week Intermediate Pranayama Course. Whenever you have little time for Pranayama, you can practice with this Pranayama Video. This practice is also very suitable before the Meditation — or before Asanas.

This is not a guide for beginners. In this video, Sukadev assumes that you have already mastered Kapalabhati and alternate-nostril breathing. The Pranayama session in this video is identical to the Practice Part from 6A.
